POSTERS AND THE ENVIRONMENT
There's no way of getting round it. Cutting down trees to
make posters has an impact on the environment.
Hey, it's not all bad news, because when you print with us, we do lots of
unique things to make the footprint lighter:
Recycled Paper Option - No extra charge.
If you want to use recycled paper for your posters, we'll do our bit by covering the extra costs of recycled
paper, soy-based ink and extra drying time so the amount of virgin pulp we use is kept to a minimum,
and at no extra cost to you.
Clean Electricity
All our heavy handling equipment, like forklifts, lifters and trolleys are
all electric, so there's no dirty fumes, and zero pollution.
100% of
the electricity we use at our main plant is clean, with
each Kw used,
replaced with 1 equal unit of clean hydro energy.
Recycling
We recycle paper waste and offcuts at all our plants. At our main plant,
we also have a dedicated compacter to reduce the amount (by volume)
trucks have to collect each week.
Greenfleet Vehicle Offset
We offset our private, company owned vehicle emissions with Greenfleet,
and run the smallest, lightest, vehicles matched precisely to weights carried,
which avoids wasted fuel.
